Fidelity

Fidelity, the 'Crimson Nightmare'. She rides the line between this world and the next; her body is bleached white but she flies on tattered wings of blood. Adorned in deep-dyed silks, her face is painted a hideous red. Not much is known about her; she is rarely seen except as a shadow passing overhead, an omen of who will die next. She reeks of death, putrid roses blooming from her rotting wings. When she appears to those who are dying, she appears as a crimson Shepard, calling them to join her in a journey to the beyond.

Daughter of a Reaper and an Emperor warrior, Fidelity was pulled into this world as a being who was not quite dead, but had never been alive. She is cursed, an aberration which should never have come to be. Fidelity feels pulled towards her dead brethren by the plague within her in an urge to combine with them into an Emperor, capable of ravaging the earth and scorching the sky. At the same time, she feels compelled to travel among the living in order to find those who will die soon, and ensure they get to the afterlife.
