Dreamwalker
You are far more likely to find Rasui asleep than awake. Indeed, if you see him wandering around, he is probably sleepwalking. He spends more than two-thirds of every single day asleep. Although he appears to be unconscious, Rasui is actually performing a strange and very rare kind of magic. Rasui discovered his latent psychic ability when he was a young hatchling. He found that, with meditation and focus, he could actually read the thoughts of those around him. Rasui sought to expand his abilities and reach deeper psychic states. He soon unlocked the ability to lucid dream. Once he mastered control over his own dreams, he learned how to breach the barriers of the mind and enter the dreams of others.
Rasui calls it "Dreamwalking." He is able to psychically project himself into the minds of other dragons, thus becoming a figure in their dreams. Rasui uses this ability to explore the mental landscapes of those around him. He can uncover their sweetest dreams and their most frightening nightmares. He can also use his Dreamwalking to implant suggestions into a dragon's unconscious mind. He can subtly influence others to do as he pleases. While Rasui tries not to use his powers for evil, he can sometimes accidentally implant suggestions without meaning it. These days, Rasui uses his psychic powers to help dragons in need. He often enters the sleeping minds of troubled dragons and uses his power to soothe them. The dragons wake up feeling better and happier than before. |
