⁂ ABOUT
At sunrise, bathing in the sand, dappled with light and feeding on amber grain. Feel the warmth rising from the earth. Sing me a song of the light. Born in shadow in the depths of the Foxfire Bramble, Stardust was raised to worship the Shadowbinder. On a cold autumn night, while wandering far from home, a luminescent glow caught her eye. She slipped through the brambles and out into Wispwillow Grove, where the bright glow of giant fungi broke through the shadow like quicksilver. The light infused her, and she slept there all night, imagining that the glowing mushrooms could warm her. When morning came, cold and grey over the tangled Shadow-world, she followed the dawn's pallid path across the sky, finally breaking through the clouds and emerging into the warm sun. Her song tells of fields of barley shimmering in undulating waves, fireflies dancing in soft evening air, and the rush of summer rain when the storms come. |
