Beeyonce came from a long and well established line of firey dragons, and her immediate family was a large one. Despite the large number of children her parents hatched, her mother, Emberdust, was always fond of her (although would never admit to having a favourite child). Bee bore a striking resemblance to her mother, but also to her Grandmother. Emberdust missed her own mother dearly, and kept Bee close, but it wasn't long before Bee needed to stretch her wings and find her own way. She had travelled, and settled with a family of her own before travelling again with them. She lengthened her family lineage just as her mother had done, and her children settled into clans all over Sornieth, others serving the deities they chose after their own journeys. Bee had always been firm and fiery in personality, guarded to help her be strong for herself and her family, but as she grew older she felt more and more empathy for her mother. She looked around the den and realised her children had flown, and that contact was rare after that. It wasn't unusual, and she did not blame them. After all, she had done the same herself. Had her mother felt this lonely when she had gone? Or had it been many years later, when she had no urge to build a new nest, and stared at the remnants of the previous one just as Bee was doing? It was time to go, to move on once again. This time it would be different. She would go alone for the first time in many years, travel to a new clan just like she was a fledgling.
