Cinnabar was born in the crater of the largest volcano in the Ashfall Waste. He is filled with the passion of the Flamecaller and the Fire Flight. He is a fast learner and quickly learned metalworking and other skills. But it was just the beginning of his journey. As he was learning new skills he also found himself fascinated by the spiraling twister in the distance and srangely drawn to the Windswept Plateau to the north. One day he was told by the Flamecaller there was a clan in need of his skills and that he needed to complete a journey to the north to find them. He couldn't hardly believe what he was hearing, the Flamecaller was sending him on a journey to the Windswept Plateau, a place he had always wanted to see. He told his fellow dragons what had happened. They smiled, helped him pack for his journey and wished him well. He went on his journey to the north and found a clan in need of his skills. Unable to resist the chance to help them and show off his skills at the same time he accepted their offer to stay and help repair some of their possessions which had been damaged when one of The Beast Clans attacked them. The clan was so impressed by his skills and passion for his work and fellow clan mates that they offered to make him part of their clan. Cinnabar accepted, as he had been working with them he also grew attached to this clan and found it impossible to leave them behind.

He makes frequent trips with a group of his clan mates to the Ashfall Waste to bathe in the lava pools and crater of the great volcano where he was born. A trip the clan finds most beneficial as it also offers them a chance to trade for various metal and ore not easily found in their home range and make new friends along the way. They also enjoy the chance to explore the Ashfall Waste and go on adventures with Cinnabar.

Cinnabar is the clans Fire Rep and blacksmith/metalworker. He is kind hearted, courageous, friendly, and has a passion for all he does. He is also a formidable warrior and will not hesitate to come to the aide of the clan or any of their friends and allies.

He is named for the island in Pokemon: Indigo League where a volcano battle takes place.

Cinnabar is also a form of mercury sulfide. The most common source ore for refining elemental mercury Cinnabar usually occurs as a vein-filling mineral associated with recent volcanic activity and alkaline hot springs.
