They call her 'lightning-touched'.

There are skeptics out there who doubt this claim. How could a dragon like her (tiny, quiet, withdrawn) possibly hold the wrath of a storm in those delicate claws?

Not many dragons know just what she is capable of. Thank the Spire that Dorian does, however, because he promised to help her when they met, and he hasn't given up yet.

The truth, behind layers of rumour and whispered accusations, is that she cannot control her magic. She fled the Stormcatcher's domain as soon as she realised that her power stood as a threat to any clan who took her in.

And the necklace that most dragons think is the source of her strength is actually a dampener that Dorian came up with to stop her magic from seeping out.

This strength, she believes, is a curse, and she will never be convinced otherwise..
