icev4.png An Ice-borne Skydancer, Zan is about as odd as they come. A lack of emotions and an innate desire to bond with other dragons don't quite go hand in hand, giving Zan a lot of trouble growing up. His parents could not deal with how odd he was compared to the rest of their Ice-clan, and abandoned him whilst he was still a Hatchling.

He barely remembers his parents as a result, and spent most of his youth travelling from clan to clan, initially making friends, but soon realising the other Dragons were quickly growing tired of his cold attitude and moving on to the next clan.

As he grew older however, he realised that his unique traits made him an excellent Mediator, able to read the emotions of others, but not being caring enough himself to actually pick sides. So he acted as a "Judge for Hire", still moving from clan to clan, but this time with a purpose - and earning a lot of money as a result.

When Celestine offered to hire him on a more permanent basis, he was initially overwhelmed, but soon bonded so much with the other Skydancer Aura, that they became a pair. He would do anything to stay near her, so he accepted the offer.
