Erythrite is transparent to translucent and usually develops small, prismatic, tabular and needle-like crystals in hair-like, tufted or radialstrahligen mineral aggregates and spherical-low one shapes and powdery approaches.

The mineral is mainly of characteristic peach (flower) red or pink color, but can also be found in darker carmine red or lighter shades of pink . Also colorless to white Erythrine are known, but very rarely. On the dash panel he leaves a bright red to pink line . Visible crystal faces have a glass-like shine on, cleavage planes shimmer hand rather nacreous.
