Daughter to Lye and Samson, Shiari holds a strange place within the Corrosive hierarchy. Though leadership is not determined by bloodline, many dragons hold a certain respect towards her for the role her parents played in the forging and running of the clan.

She has little memory of her father, who died when she and her sister were quite young. Placed under the care of the wounded and grieving Anpaka, the guardian who had taken Samson on as his charge, Shiari saw very little of the conflict that claimed the life of her father. She and her sister were the first dragons to be raised under their mother's leadership of the clan, and has no knowledge but the stories of what life was like before the Corrosive mercenary band formed.

Shiari remains close with her sister Belmi, as well as Anpaka, but interacts little with her mother. She has heard too many stories about Lye's refusal to enter the war effort until after Samson died, and blames her for much of the damage that was wrought; even not knowing most who died.

She has taken on magical training under Urd, and fights alongside the other warriors and mages when the clan is working a contract. The time she does not spend in training or battle is spent with her sister, who she considers it her duty to protect at all costs.
