A Dragoness accidentally bought by Icnoyotl, who thought she was a type of familiar. She is actually pretty shy and can be easily startled, but tries to appear aloof and unapproachable. She tries to be brave and carefree like the other powerful females around her, but often internally beats herself down with self-doubts and fears about her own failings. She has a simple gold collar magically bound to her neck and has developed a tick of digging at it when she goes deep into thought- sometimes so much so she causes herself to bleed.

After an encounter with the Mysterious tundra who lives in the nearby forest, she has been spending time in the forest more and more often. The clan has come to consider the Tundra her mate, since she has had offspring with him on more than one occasion. She was irked by the association at first, but has come to accept it to be true; because she looks at no other male in the clan, and sometimes even looks forward to wandering into the forest. She doesn't speak openly about her time in the forest, not even to Luciellia, she keeps her experiences to herself.

When Rysain was younger she would practice hunting on the many sparrowmice that infest the tree. One little runtling she couldn't kill, she had seen it fall out of its nest and didn't think it very sporting to kill something without it having the chance to escape. She ended up taking care of it and now the two have developed a strong bond. Bits wears a bright red scarf with a bell attached to it to signal to other dragons it is not a snack nor hunting practice. Bits is short for "Itty bitty".
