Otakuderp13: Cloud is a great addition to any clan, being a very skilled weatherdragon. Through many different signs, he is able to predict the weather with an unmatched accuracy. Foretelling floods, tornados, or even just a slight drizzle, he's able to help his clan in a variety of ways. However, he is quite the restless being, always floating about between clans and usually helping them in a significant way, such as warning his temporary clan of destructive storms. Tox: Cloud was a little nervous to visit his first new clan, especially a Plague clan in the harsh desert of the Scarred Wasteland. However, he quickly found the Toxic Wastes to be incredibly hospitable, and he made many friends within the clan as he helped them make plans around oncoming weather patterns. King Andiron, incredibly impressed by his skill, asked Cloud if he might consider staying in the Toxic Wastes, but Cloud politely declined. Even clan seer Basilius confirmed it: Cloud's fate is to travel between clans, helping those in need before moving on. Still, he'll never forget the very first clan he ever visited. Vipera: In a clan dominated by ridgebacks, Cloud felt rightfully dwarfed. But he was treated with respect — even the scraping of lair expansion, which was usually obnoxious, had quelled to distant scritch-scratch. Predictably, the ceiling of the lair also proved useful to Cloud's work — the intricate rifts provided a clear view of the sky, which allowed him to predict the weather with astounding accuracy. During his stay, the scribe worked tirelessly to document his feats, and when he returned home, he left an unwavering sense of appreciation. DigitalElf: Cloud's first day was a tough one, the clan leader sent him out gathering food and then instructed him in fighting so he could defend himself on further journeys. Thankfully after all that he was able to rest and meet the rest of the clan. Meeting the other dragons in this clan was exhausting, some of them had energy to spare but Cloud was able to find a few that would listen to his weather telling information. He found out quite quickly though that weather in the Starfall islands changed at the flick of a tail, he did learn that it is possible for it to rain crystals though. He watched them fall from the safety of a barrier over the clan garden with his new friend Mandie. seamadeland: Cloud's next trip took him to a lair in the Shifting Expanse. The clan that he arrived to was in turmoil, as a great upheaval was in process: the dragons who made up the core of the clan seemed to change every day, and eventually Cloud just took to spending his days perched in a tree outside of the lair, helping ensure that the weather was not a problem for this clan in their time of chaos, spending his time with an older Fae named Lyta. She spent much of her time telling him stories of Sornieth past, and the Shifting Expanse as it was ages ago. He soon moved on, enriched with the stories he'd been told. However, before he started to return home, Lyta convinced him that she should go to his home clan. They've become much closer since, the journey bonding them in an important way. otakuderp13: This fae had suddenly grown tired of travelling, and decided it was a good idea to stay back at home with his new mate, Lyta, for a while. His newfound companion, a Stormseeker, aids him in his craft as he becomes even more familiar with the weather patterns of the Tangled Wood. Lyta and he are very happy together, already raising a whole nestful of children. Soon enough he heard word that his sister, Contrast, had two children recently as well. Excited by this news, he returned a letter saying that he'd love to meet her family. Another was received; he was always welcome- though he wasn't able to go (there was a storm to prepare for), through her letters he learned about what had happened to her, how she ended up in her current clan and most notably, her mate. He was what's called a "Night Warrior". Since her mate was one of these nightly warriors, her twins were as well. The male twin expressed interest in the Tangled Wood, as well as Cloud himself. Many of the night warriors travel to other clans to expand their community- and the gem-covered fae decided from a young age that he'd go to Cloud's clan. |
