I haven’t seen you for a long long time! So I decided to write you a letter to tell you how everything is here.

The mornings are cool, the evenings are too. When the sun is high in the sky my new family is all around, flying and hunting and playing. The world or the wind clan is interesting to say the least, where there is always a breath of fresh air to be had and little areas to teach new hatchlings to fly.
In the beginning it was a lot to get used to, having dragons of all colours and hues waking you up in the early mornings, and sometimes there not being enough food for a good meal every morning and evening. Sometimes I would dream about being home with you and living somewhere less carefree and bouncy, and sometimes I would dream about a happy future here where the grass is always soft and there is always a breeze to dry your fur after a swim.

But the lead female, a big tundra lady named Eliquai, was always there to cuddle me when the nights were too lonely and too empty. And soon I had taken the place of cuddler for new little tundras who came into our clan. Like a pretty tundra girl with stripes named Aicor, who was always up for playing, and a little boy with pretty ivory markings all over his body named Typheus. They both grew up and earned mates that make them smile and brighten their days. But they should be jealous, because I have the prettiest mate in the world with the prettiest smile and prettiest eyes.
And she makes me happier than I can explain.

It is like every morning I wake up, and no matter how cold it is or how strong the wind is, she makes the sun rise and she tells the sun to set. Sapphris is the most beautiful fae dragon ever Mom, and I think you would like her.
Of course, she is a bit tinier than me, but not too much! Just enough that I can carry her around just to annoy her.

She likes me too. I am pretty sure.

She says I am the fluffiest tundra ever and she loves that when we cuddle.

I have had my own hatchlings too! Quite a few have found good homes, some have left to serve other gods but I do think that they are happy. One boy out of our latest clutch is still trying to find a home, but I am going to keep searching for a spot for him in this world.

I also have a very cuddly familiar! He is a Warcat Protector, but he is probably the most snuggly thing in the world. Like a tiny kitten!

I just wanted to say I love you Mommy and Dad. I didn’t get to say it before I was gone, and I know that there are probably times when you think we all just disappear into the great beyond but I am still here. I wonder about my siblings, but they must be having the busiest of lives now!
