Biography

Virgil is a boisterous, pompous old dragon, who thinks highly of himself and his clan. He is very proud of his colors - Azure and Purple are the colors of nobility, you know! - and enjoys showing them off with matching apparel. His apparel choices are...not always what other dragons in the lair might consider fashionable, but he wears them with enough confidence that his clan mates have found there's not much point in teasing him. He enjoys spending his free time with Shangdi and Argestus, trading war stories and raiding the pantry for fancier food stuffs, but when it came time to choose a Coliseum team he politely declined to join them. Much as he likes their company, Virgil is a dragon of action, and though he is known for embellishing his tales of adventure in the Coliseum, the truth is he usually doesn't have to embellish them much! He and his team mate Utena are always both eager to volunteer for the messiest and most dangerous Coli fights, and lately they've been having a grand time tearing through the aggressive beast clans in their area. (Their third member, Ieni, isn't as passionate about their missions, but after all, he's just the healer - as long as he keeps the fighters from fainting, who cares what else he's getting up to!)

Virgil was talked into adopting his Fawn Fox Rat because his mate, Evika, wanted them to have matching familiars. He would have preferred something a bit fiercer, but he has high hopes for his little pet - even though all of his attempts at training it to be a ferocious attack beast have so far ended with it cuddling up to him and falling asleep.

Virgil is a member Chevaliers team, consisting of himself, Utena and Ieni. Utena and Virgil both love a good fight, and are always willing to go off on grinding sessions when asked. Ieni tends to disappear for long stretches of time whenever they're out, but his team mates are usually too busy trading blows with the local beast clans to notice he's gone, and he always turns up with a handy healing spell before either of them is too badly injured.
