Aegean

With Altair's firm belief that the recent good fortune of the clan is a direct blessing from the Tidelord, the clan leader decided to take in a pair of gifted priests to ensure that their god continued to smile on them.

Aegean was the start of this. Altair found him in a grotto where he had set up a shrine to the Tidelord and his fervent, almost fanatical, devotion to their god impressed her. He claimed the clan's good fortune was a result of the Tidelord's benevolence and Altair was convinced to take him in, offering him a high status in the clan as their new priest. A mate, Levantine, was selected for him, and despite the arrangement it started out as, the two have become inseparable.

While Levantine seems content with the respect of the clan and her high status, Aegean is more concerned with the spiritual nature of his position. He spends most of his time performing rituals to honor the Tidelord and some of the clan's younger members whisper that there is something a little... off about him. He has Altair's ear, however, and she seems unconcerned by his behavior. After all, she took him in knowing this, and she is more concerned with keeping the grace of their god than the eccentricities of their priest.
