Forest is the head of the clan's hunting party, and by extension is often one of the first dragons to run into the spacial errors that are unusually common around the lair. As such, Forest has had many, many experiences with interdimensional shenanigans. Enough that she's one of the clan's leading experts (and honestly, the fact that the clan needs an expert in this is telling.)

Despite this, Forest sticks to her hunting; while she'll give practical advice in the field, she prefers to leave the theoretical sides of science to the people who're actually trying to study it. Like Ion.

A tradition in her lineage is food-themed names, landing Forest with the full name of Black Forest Gâteau. She's slightly bitter about being named after a cake, but doesn't hold it against her parents. She's just glad it's not worse.
