Biography
Tylla had not known that her life would be completely changed after finding an injured Ridgeback half dead in a ravine near her home. She had not known that this Ridgeback, called Eshwyn, would be like a star in an otherwise dreary sky.
If asked before meeting him if she was happy, she would have told you that she was. Even if the monotony sometimes ate at her, the act of forage scavenge fight, if the restless push for her to either dedicate herself to a profession or do anything to help benefit her clan more than she did (and even then only due to obligation).
Tylla thought she was happy and content and if vast parts of her life were dictated by duty then so be it.
But then she met him, Eshwyn, the wandering rogue (not really) Ridgeback. Injured as he was, she was lucky to have found him at all, his wings which he had cocooned around himself for protection matched this rock around him almost perfectly. He was unconscious when she stumbled upon him, and she had only seen him for the small pool of blood that had soaked the earth beneath him.
And as the stories goes she had found him and he has squirrelled him away and she had healed him over time.
Eshwyn had no designs on her life once he was healed and they had known each other for some time. He was a breath of fresh air, he said she could do as she wished and to hell with clan obligations.
He imparted his wisdom and then bade her farewell and good luck.
Tylla is nothing if not stubborn, and as she watched him leave, walking and not flying (she had learned he actually was not fond of flying), she made up her mind. She would join him.
So Tylla returned to her clan, packed a bag of all she could carry and flew after him with no word or good bye to the clan she was leaving.
And Tylla and Eshwyn travelled together, wandering. Mostly together but sometimes not. Tylla, with Eshwyn having no desire and no stomach for violence, was often needed as a guard and hunter in their travels.
It wasn't for some years that they settled down in a valley with tall tall cliffs and winding roping caves.
They had children, two, and from there it seemed there family quickly became a clan of misfits and wanders, dragons with no where to go and nothing to do.
Older now, Tylla spends much her time in her home, the cave systems of the cliffs they have settled in mostly blocked and only resided in by her and her mate.
Their clan having built up and out in clay walled adobes against the walls of the valley.
