Triton is a creature of many talents and many jobs: fisherman, bodyguard, ambassador to the Maren. During downtime at home, they spent their time fishing in deep waters. While sailing with their mate Bluebird, they serve as her bodyguard (bird is more than capable on her own, but triton is more imposing), keeping her and her crew safe in the sketchier ports. Wherever they go, they speak with the Maren to ensure peace between them.

MATE .
- - - • personality
Triton is a massive deep-sea Guardian, all long sharp teeth and bioluminescent spots. They are truly terrifying, but those who know them know how gentle and sweet they are. They speak in a soft, deep, rumbling voice, with a slight lisp, very careful in choosing their words. They move carefully as well. They love kids, their mates, and the color and light of the surface world. Their charge is the bay around the clanhome. They're scared of sharks after seeing one attack a Maren friend, but still scares them away from the bay.

FRIEND .
- - - • history
Triton barely knew their parents. They were both deep-sea guardians and left their hatchlings to their own devices weeks after they hatched. Triton and their siblings split up to pursue their own charges, their own futures. Triton found their way to the clan's bay and made their home there, befriending the local Maren but too scared to reveal themself to the dragons- until Bluebird. She was arguing with the Maren chief over fishing areas and Triton intervened, intending to attack her, but found they couldn't. Instead, they helped her forge an alliance with the Maren and made their first visit to a dragon clan.
