Rythian... Is only technically a part of the clan. He's considered a clanmember by most dragons in it, but he doesn't live in the lair or even close to it, and rarely visits. By some clan's standards he might be more like an ally.

Rythian first encountered the clan through something Forest refers to as "interdimensional shennanigans" (usually accompanied by cursing). He and his apprentice Zoeya come from another dimension, and aren't normally dragons, rather being a species similar in some ways to some beastclans. The details are fuzzy on how it happened, but somehow Rythian got himself turned into a Skydancer while still in his world.

How he and his apprentice ended up in Sornieth can probably be blamed on the weak spacial fabric that for some reason surrounds the area the clan built their lair, but whatever the reason, it happened.

  Thankfully, the clan is used to nonsense such as that. It took a while (2 years counts as a while, right?) and a lot of tinkering, but the clan managed to tap into the weak spots in the universe to get a safe doorway back to Rythian's universe.

They come back and forth, now. With the portal not really needing to close, and Rythian and his apprentice often needing more company anyway, it was sort of inevitable that they'd occasionally come back to visit.

Sometimes they bring their friend Teep, who doesn't even need to shapeshift to fit in.
