All Skydancers possess the ability to detect magical energies and sense the mood of other dragons, but the talent is stronger in some than others. The dragon known as Osmosis is one such individual. Born into the Arcane Flight, the young Skydancer interested himself in all matters of knowledge, having once expressed, "I like a more complete world view." As he grew, he came to realize that he could learn the knowledge of others simply by being in their presence—a priceless gift—and renamed himself accordingly.

Though Osmosis could've spent the rest of his life putting his talent to use among his fellow scholars, once again, taking a worldlier view, he decided to leave the Starfall Isles to experience the rest of Sornieth firsthand.
