-Early Life-

Although the result of a breeding project, Krindurr has a comfortable childhood. Nothing special: they fed him, sheltered him, raised him right, then sent him on his way. Were they ideal hatchling years? No. Did he want to be sent away? No. Was he? Yes...

-Turned Out-

Being a young dragon, Kindurr was terrified when they kicked him out. Where would he go? What would he do? It was an awful feeling. Like they didn't really love him, but couldn't throw out a hatchling in good conscious either, so they waited until now. It wasn't just terrifying. It was heart-breaking.

-Taken In-

Kindurr wasn't out for long though. In fact, he was taken up within a day by a guardian called Yeshuun. The Rosefall Flight welcomed him with such warmth that it hurt. It was like they should have been his family, not experimental breeders. If only that had been the case, then maybe he wouldn't feel so empty inside.

-Deon-

The last member of the flight he met was Deon. His colors struck Kindurr as odd, but somehow pleasing. It kind of softened the anger radiating off the older male. He was sure when the yellow guardian approached that he was about to make an enemy, but instead, he lay next to Kindurr and asked to be friends...

-Confession-

It was so painfully obvious that even he saw it. The big lug was prideful, antisocial, grumpy, and yet he wanted to be friends. Unlike with everyone else, he was more talkative and very awkward with Krindurr. He doubted Deon had ever embarrassed himself more in that month than he had done in his entire life. The look on his face when Krindurr confessed his own attraction gave it away. Then, after a few days of no one seeing Deon at all, he confessed his love right back. That was the day they became mates.
