Lucinda was a falling star, a brilliant streak that travelled the expanse of the young universe. When she landed upon the grassy steppes of the zephyr plains, her ethereal energy slowly began to take form. Dragons, amongst other creatures, that had witnessed her heavenly journey and had followed, were now gathered around her. What rose before them was a dragon, her skin the colour of a starless night and petal-like patterns blossomed from her ankles to her wrists. Her wings were wreathed in amber silks, her head adorned with delicate jewels interlaced with black tulips, lisianthus and sweet peas. They called her the skydancer, for she was one who 'danced across the skies'. The other creatures revered her, knowing that her fall upon the plains was fated, like the many other creations of the eleven deities. And she did not disappoint them either; she led her followers with a wisdom and dignity that was beyond her age. Perhaps such creations were not governed by age, or she had been gifted in both grace and knowledge. Regardless, the legend of realm Vesper had begun.
