Diora is a hunter who does most of her work at night. She is originally from the Shadow Flight, but left for reasons that she does not like to talk about. The only dragon she has confided in is Umbra, since she is also an outsider to the Nature flight. The clan leader, Naza, kindly accepted Diora into the clan without asking why she was fleeing the Shadows. Diora will always be grateful to her for this kindness.

Diora has asked Naza to take her on as an apprentice many times, and every time, Naza has refused. Diora holds out hope that Naza will change her mind. In the meantime, she works as a gatherer for the clan. She collects insects, plants, and other foragible goods. Special requests always go to Fractal.

Diora came to the Woodwings some years ago, and was charmed by Jules' awkward bashfulness. She could quite plainly see the crush he had on her, but she was content to wait for him to come to her in his own time. And come to her he did, after a few years of dancing around the subject. They have been mates for only a little while now, but they had been friends for a long time before then, and their love runs deep.
