Strikingly beautiful and a dragon of discipline, Selene is still considered to be a fairly normal dragon. No one suspects that a Shade parasite may be lurking within. Her existence is a constant battle for control of her own mind and body, which she copes with by keeping her life in strict routines and patterns, including grueling training. She'd have found a paladin to force it out long ago, if not for one...issue. It was during her Search that the Shade took up residence in her body, and it was then that her Search ended. The Shade parasite itself is Selene's charge. They live in a delicate balance, and Selene is not always the one in control. When she finds her control slipping, she sneaks away from the lair where she rampages and often injures herself until she can gather the strength and find an opportunity to take herself back.
