Shiningbreeze x Cantre

B I O G R A P H Y

A devoted Guardian coming from the depths of Sorienth's waters, Shiningbreeze, the founder of the clan, mate to Cantre, and advisor to all. [and she keeps everybody alive by using her magic to let them BREATHE].

Shiningbreeze is a very patient guardian; her role as leader and founder of the clan suits her extremely well. She has a sharp tongue as well, provoking her anger is unwise, because Shiningbreeze is well-trained and is extremely strict when it comes down to punishment. However, Shiningbreeze can be quite friendly, as some have realized, especially the Fae Quickclaw, who is a very good friend of Shiningbreeze's; they spend plenty of free time together doing various activities ranging from hunting to chatting to sparring lightly. Xin, who is also quite strict and goes by something more like aggressive affection, is also a close friend to Shiningbreeze. The two are of great power and strength when combined; and are not to be messed with.

Shiningbreeze's apparel was obtained throughout a marketplace, she loves how the flashy colors give her a very contrasting look compared to her darker gene colors. The candles floating around her are said to always guide her with their light, even in the dark Shiningbreeze can always see, which comes in handy on occasion. Shiningbreeze also just loves jewelry and is totally on board with the whole golden runes idea.

B I O G R A P H Y

As always, Shiningbreeze is wholeheartedly obsessed with glittery and shimmery golden things, and admires the gentle golden runes inscribed over her figure, though she is not vain; her appearance does not get to her head. Shiningbreeze has a weak spot for gold (the metal) and minerals/gems as well :)

She does not remember her parents; they died young, which left Shiningbreeze an orphan. It was by luck that a imperial who was nearby during her parents death was willing to take in the guardian (Amiah had recently lost her mate and children to untimely death); and became a foster parent/caretaker for Shiningbreeze, determined to build a good childhood and memories to remember.

Later, unfortunately while crossing the waters in the sea Amiah, the imperial, was dragged down by the rapid current and drowned, leaving Shiningbreeze heartbroken. In honor and memory of her foster mother, the place where Shiningbreeze hit land is now marked by an engraved stone detailing the day of Amiah's death. This shore is accessible not far away from the clan's main area.

Cantre surprised her. While in mourning, Shiningbreeze was setting up a small clan area on the shores near the sea when she ran (literally) into a snarky mirror who had obviously been travelling for some time and accidentally stumbled into the clan. She offered him a place to stay, since Cantre looked rather tired. He refused. She shrugged and told him that then he should get out of there, and he did, but at night he grudgingly returned, having found nowhere else to sleep. They were like black and white at first: Cantre was emotionally cold, sarcastic, and rather unwilling; meanwhile Shiningbreeze was thoughtful, honest, and straightforward. Gradually they grew on each other; Cantre staying for days at a time until he slowly became her other half. Shiningbreeze refused to admit her feelings until Cantre asked if he could stay permanently; he asked her to be his mate, and she consented. Then they began to build a clan in honour of themselves and Amiah, whose grave was still visited daily by the guardian, but now in happiness and respect rather than sadness and depression.
