Biography
"The Silent Specter"
Aeroa died an ugly, violent death. It was an ambush. One moment she was sitting down to a meal of fried Algaestriders, the next she heard a terrible crunch of shattered vertebrae-her own. But that was not all. Somehow, after the life fled from her, she was still seeing her attacker mangling her motionless body. She recognized him. He was her clanmate, somebody she looked up to! How could he stoop to such deed? And why? Helpless she watched as he dragged her corpse out. Unseen by the clan, he left her corpse for the scavengers to feast on. Soon there was nothing left of her body. Was he to go unpunished? No! Aeroa will have her revenge, no matter how long it will take. He will pay for what he had done. Someday.
Easier said than done. Things are different when you’re a ghost. At first, she marvelled at her new, ethereal and wispy appearance. She never believed in ghosts or other paranormal phenomena. Now, that she was one, she found it very boring. When you don’t need to eat and dragons look through you even when they can see you, the days are quite long. She began amusing herself by exercising her newly-found powers of telekinesis and walking through solid objects. At first she swiped things that were left by other dragons and laughed her tail off when they were frantically looking for them. She would levitate a candle in the night, so the dragons going for a midnight snack would chase the enigmatic light until the dawn. Once she jumped out and screamed ‘BOO!’ in hatchling’s face, but she stopped laughing in an instant. The little one couldn’t stop crying for hours and couldn’t sleep alone for weeks. She decided to cut on ghost pranks after that.
Still, being a ghost is not all bad. If only she could make sure her killer would get what was coming to him.
