ABOUT.
"Every day, the sky falls on our heads; how stupid must I be to not snap at whatever moves? The world is out to get us. We cannot let it win."
The motto and perhaps most eloquent line from Kerwyn only manifests in the presence of Amini, their mate. Yes, their mate is the brains of their brawn, but when it all boils down like a tar pit losing its capsule, both aberrations want the same thing.
More than survival, more to life than just living. Kerwyn wishes to thrive. That is its purpose and design. The plaguebringer told it herself..

IMPRESSIONS.
To all others, the tyrant's only objective seems to be a cosmic challenge of brutality and carnage, mistakenly programmed to be revelry to them. They hunt and fight more savagely then any sane creature should, and care little about the other dragons and creatures around them. Their snapping tone makes it seem like they're always annoyed and fed up with what it's doing or who it's talking to... And that isn't wrong..

PAST.
For every action, the world throws a punch. To the large dark mirror? This was far removed from fiction, rather it acted as an undeniable law of nature. The hunting came with wounds, the travel came with disease, flight came with tears and ambushes, and partnership came with a terror of eventual betrayel. As good as Amini was at soothing their rage, making up for its recklessness' deficits and covering their bases, that fear would remain as the infected perception of its world.

They don't even remember their life from before meeting, lonesome mirror to lonesome mirror all those years ago. Why should they? It was the worst of times for sure. No need to make it take up limited space in the brain.

But one day ... It split from its mate, planning to drag in a festered creature for them both to eat around the pustules of. Instead? Their met their maker. A hoard of beasts awaiting it like it usually stalked prey, tearing it to pieces as if it was no more than a dog. The only relief it found was when they had had their fill of pecks and claws, and left it to die in the burrow it crawled to during the fighting.

Amini wasn't going to let that happen. They saved it, helped it swallow down food and water. But one day in the hospice care, the thing that still tinged with fear that a ruse was up, Amini carred home a poultrice of mashed goo, claiming it to be a help... Oh gods it burned. The immediate strength of the stuff was an inferno wherever it made contact with the wounds, as if the intent was to cauterize instead of heal- It couldn't even cry out, because Amini had started at the throat. The agony continued, day in and day out. But-

Eventually, they met their maker in a dreamless sleep. They closed their four eyes to wait for a never-ending conclusion, and opened... five, with an understanding and a clarity. This was a gift, a reward even! After dealing with so much suffering, the universe pulled back a punch. The second head was awoken to a deep-seeded rage at their mate mixing with a deep gratitude. What would be the first thing to do with such power?

Pay them back in kind. But to give them the same transformation... they had to be just as hurt. Lucky, it was recently equipped for the job. For years, even decades ever since, the connection between them tempered into something it never could have been without that trial. They each put their lives in each other's hands and ended up with a fifth eye, another mind, another soul to spend for a life the devil tried to take in the days of weakness. Each dragon forgave the other for the pain, albiet Kerwyn much quicker than Amini. For what else could have shown the caretaker such hatred mixed with such love?.
