The night was dark and bleak when Bernadette left the safety of her parents' lair in search of her own destiny. A gifted child of one of the greatest lairs of the Spiral Keep, she drew the line at being forced into a union that she didn't approve of. Her parents would have kept her to wither at their beck and call; Bernadette knew that she was destined for greater things. The Tidelord called to her, and had for quite some time. As the world continued to be embroiled in its constant battle for dominance, she grew restless as she waited and wondered when her turn to serve would come. She decided to seek out a place that would be far from the reach of her powerful parents, yet still within the Tidelord's reign. Those first days alone were difficult, and many times she considered exalting herself directly into the service of the Tidelord. There was no greater calling for a dragon in his realm. The appearance of Winterheart one fateful day made the decision to stay and fight easier. Bernadette decided that she would grow her clan-their clan-in order to fully serve the Tidelord and help in Water's fight. She teaches those who come to her and are born in her lair the importance of serving and why treasure simply isn't enough. Bernadette's fire is unquenchable. She aspires for nothing but greatness and will stop at nothing to attain it. Her devotion was rewarded by Tidelord on that fateful day when her tertiary color suddenly showed in a gorgeous glimmer. She will continue her service; she will prove to her family that she is destined for greatness. |
