Phthalo made his way to the clan early, back when it was still ran by Winter and Euram, and took quickly to helping defend the small territory. There were so few members back then that it wasn't hard to do alone. Though of course the clan grew over time, and he's an older dragon, so he was happy to step down a rank and let Cevade have control over the guards.

Pearl joined around the same time, and he was smitten by the sweet Pearlcatcher, and loves watching her do well in the coliseum. She's strong and he loves that. They've spend plenty of nights together, as he covers the night duties, and happily stays near the den to protect her and the hatchlings.

And as soon as Vilioetta joined, he loved her just as much. She was lovely and intelligent, not unlike Pearl, and her mystery only made her more enticing to the both of them. Perhaps he has a thing for Pearlcatchers. The three formed a happy triad that enjoy their mixed roles in life and being able to have the nights to themselves.

He may be the only one up at night, but he doesn't mind it too much. So far this clan has been rather safe, but he does fear the day that something may happen. Being born in Light gave him exceptional night vision since joining the clan that could rival any Shadow dragon, but he's not perfect. He mainly guards the den and hatchlings and would hate for something to sneak past him while he's alone. Oh Eleven what would he do then?
