Dorado

Hello. I am Dorado. Please forgive broken Common Tongue, learned language recently. I am orphan, parents died in war when I hatchling. I lived alone in dark and isolate cave in Crystalspine, was my lair until Chimera found.

I was sad and lonely. I search for objects look like me. Gold and golden and shiny. I decorated alone cave with lots of gold and treasure. I fill walls with gold, make nest with gold, make clothes with gold. I sculptor. I learn sculpt from being alone. I sculpt friend dragons with gold so I had gold friend who looked like gold me. I never know dragons of other colors. Only gold, like me and parents before parents die.

Chimera flying around Crystalspine when she look down and see bright sparkle. Very curious Chimera fly down and investigate where she found my alone cave. Chimera shocked, never saw so much gold. Thought my sculptures were real dragons until no reply and no move. I was sleeping. Thought I was sculpture, but I not sculpture. I woke up and scared. Very scared. Never saw not gold dragon. Chimera nice and kind. Teach me language, Common Tongue, and I tell her my story.

I and Chimera lived in alone cave for many moons because she had no home. I like having real dragon friend. Then Sutachi found. Decide to travel Crystalspine to find better home than alone cave and jobs. We create clan. Clan Hiaresu for art and artists and peace.

When found permanent lair, expedition back to alone cave to find gold and treasure and gold friend sculptures. Add some treasure and gold to clan hoard, but I use some treasure and gold to sculpt sculptures. I make sculptures of more than gold now; use clay and glass and metal and jewels and wood and other pretty objects.
