Benitoite is the now permanent mate to Goldstone he won the right to be her mate after battling for her.
Despite his origins to the Light Flight he defied his clan and left to the Shifting Expanse in search of the a clan that would allow him the right to mate unlike his previous clan that denied him such a right!
The day he saw Goldstone he knew he had to have her at all costs, he joined the clan and fought the many suitors that had given what Goldstone deemed was failed nests in the past.

By winning and driving out the weaker males Goldstone allowed him to take her right in the open in full view of the those that lived in the Shifting Expanse.

Their union was not very favored due to his origins of course and many shunned him, until the hatching of their first nest. Which produced some the of the strongest storm dragons the Shifting Expanse had ever seen.

Many of their offspring grew into adults and left to serve their Reigning God The Stormcatcher.
