Biography

"The Huntress"
Mercenary for hire

Having come into service shortly after the the Siege of Marshwood, Selnomriel offered her services of protection. Though the Marsh had lost a lot of its wealth, a different price had been negotiated. The Price wasn't just food and lodging, but Dragons themselves..

Any dragon wishing to become a part of the "The Hunt", The name this group came to call themselves after a while would have to go thru a series of tests to see if they were worthy to join. Among members of the Marshwood She was called "The Huntress", but from the members of her group she was given the title of "The First Claw".

Only members of the group were allowed to call her by that title, outside of the group she was to be called by her given name "Selnomriel" or "The Huntress" to not rouse concern among their Hosts. To reveal such information was punishable by death amongst the member of The Hunt. Seeing the skills of combat and assassination from her fellow members, none dared defy her or the group for it spelled certain death.

Many of the young dragons in the Marsh aspired to become a member of The Hunt, seeing for merely what it let others to believe, protectors of the Marsh..little did they know that the real members of the group had begun to twist the minds of those around them to despise the Ruling Alphas.

"It is action that guides our choices in life, not these silly ruling councils" She said often to her friends, stirring up secret contentions amongst the members of the Marsh.

Sometime later when her ranks had been growing steadily, she was given word by Astraeus, Prime to the Alphas, that a faction leader of dragons that once attacked this land had been found in the forests. She was being sent to end its miserable life.

"How had the ruling Alpha's found this dragon? I've been searching for Norkax since my arrival." She though to herself in anger "What power do they have that they refuse to tell us about?" she continued in thought as she searched for the plague dragon. Norkax had always remained one step ahead of Selnomriel thanks to his ability to gain knowledge in.. unconventional ways. He was found this time though.. "How?" and "Why now?" were just some of the questions she had to ask Norkax when she found him.

Upon reaching the destination of where she was informed he would be she searched the surrounding forest for any sign of her target. "So, you've finally caught up to me Huntress" said a sleek voice from the shadows. Selnomriel turned the direction from where she heard the voice.. Nothing.. "Where are you, you slithering beast?" Selnomriel hissed in response.

"I think i'll remain in the shadows until you hear what I have to say.. just to make sure you don't kill me" He replied in frustration for Selnomriels ignorance. "There are secrets that lie deep within that tower that you have not been told yes?" Norkax hissed, but something in his voice caught Selnomriels attention.. It was firm and steady as if he was telling the truth

"They don't trust you.. that is why you do not to know their secrets" He continued, "He doesn't want you to know of the power that rests beneath the tower." Selnomriel raised her head slightly for curiosity's sake, wanting to know more she replied "A power? What kind of power?". "An ancient power, rumored to be given by the Gladekeeper herself." said Norkax, seeking to continue to sway her towards his cause.

"You obtain this power for us and my Master will be truly grateful.. He may even let you keep some of it." While this conversation went on Selnomriel continued to look around, searching for the Wildclaw. As Norkax finished his his tempting offer he finally began to reveal himself.

His Blood Red eyes glowed from out of the brush, his long neck came next, His head covered in a bleak bird skull. Then his arms with the rest of his white and black body, all the way to his slender tail. He also carried a long blade at his side revealing he was also skilled with the sword. "b]Do you take my offer?[/b]" Selnomriel stood still spending time deciding on the offer she was given.

"Tell your master give me some of that power.. And I will give more than just my allegiance" she replied, with eyes piercing. "I will even give him the heads of those that defied him here".

With that, Norkax gave an evil grin in return. "I will tell him of your offer, in the mean time though, we will need to ensure your safety. That this secret is not to be revealed until the time is right." With that he pulled out the head of what appeared to be another Wildclaw head "I have infused this skull with some of my magic, return home and give the leaders the news of your success. It will buy us valuable time." He hands her the head, it doesn't surprise her that it is eerily an exact replica of Norkax's on head.

"Now, off you go." Norkax spoke as he began to hide himself in the shadows of the forest. Having been given what she saught most, a means for gaining greater power. she simply nodded and took flight back towards Marshwood. With secrets revealed somewhat to her she, was growing ever closer to her goal. 'The submission to those who wronged her first'.
