Saccharo is a relatively recent addition to the Serendipity Spring clan. He moved in when he realized the area's abundant resources would aid him in his studies. Saccharo is a unique dragon in that his bite contains a powerful venom. Though no one's quite sure if it relates to his plague flight, or perhaps his Coatl breed. Since discovering this ability, Saccharo has dedicated his life to the study of various venoms, and to trying to figure out alternative uses for them. He's found that some can make powerful medicines, while others can be used in weapons. He's constantly studying to learn more.

Though he doesn't go out of his way to socialize, Saccharo does enjoy the company of other dragons. While he can be a bit awkward (surprisingly, describing the effects various venoms have on dragons isn't the best conversation starter), he really does mean well. Despite his awkward nature, he does have a mate. Sparrow is a talented alchemist, and their relationship started out professional as they each learned from the other's research notes. Eventually, however, it turned more romantic. Saccharo tends to get tongue-tied whenever his love is near, and most agree his infatuation is quite adorable.
