Biography
Ventus
Everyone knew her as the logical skydancer. Scholarly Ventus, bookworm Ventus, all around dorky nerdy Ventus. She talked too much. She did too little. She was that dragon from the Light Flight, the one who had recorded prophecies. She was the one who Alexandra had found at the edge of the Grove, listening to the trees. She was the outsider, who was somehow worthy in the eyes of the Gladekeeper. She was an Oracle.
Ventus knew little about herself, or her 'destiny'. She knew that her old clan thought her to be odd, and well, she was really. She knew they were going to exalt her, see if she could do something useful for once. She knew she had run away, fearing for her life, and ended up going to the Viridian Labyrinth. It had felt like it was calling her. So, she had simply answered the call, her curiosity getting the best of her. She had heard voices, all around her in the trees. They were whispers of knowledge long forgotten. And she felt like she belonged here. She felt like she truly belonged in this mystical forest. And then, Alexandra had found her. Alexandra had claimed to had heard of her arrival. She was taken to the elder, Lux, who implored her to stay. And she did.
Now, she listened to the trees, and pieced together parts of a broken story with Alexandra and the rest of the Oracles. Now she worked alongside Hortus, to write tales of which most ears were not blessed to hear. The two of them were close now. And while her duty to the Grove came first, she found herself spending most of her time with the shy Coatl dragon. Both felt like outsiders in this strange place. But both felt very at home when they were at each others side.
