Biography
Ancient | Genderless | Watchful | Disconnected
A cosmic-dragon that fell in love with a human astronomer long ago while they still walked Sornieth, Novasoul gave up their celestial form to join her on the earth. Tragically, the new permanent shape their body took was still that of a dragon-- only physical, now. Not being able to coexist peacefully with her society, and not wanting to force her into leaving behind everything she knew, Nova silently left one night and never returned - heartbroken, but convinced they were making the right decision.
Millennia passed and Nova still doesn't know what came to be of their star-crossed lover. Perhaps it's for the better. They knew the life span of a human was only a fraction of their celestial form's, and most certainly had they stayed, they would have witnessed her death very soon. Now the celestial dragon lives among the pink chalcedony crags and glimmering Starwood Strand of the Starfall Isles, its nature very familiar to them - a comfort among the foreign nuances of this mortal world. Constellations weave in their wake as they offer their unique experience and secret knowledge of the stars, astronomy, and celestial magic to the scarce few who cross their path with a sincere desire to learn. While they live according to their whims, many are lucky they are a calm entity-- unless slighted.
Novasoul is one of the few remaining true dragons; from a time before human and dragon souls merged.
Occasionally replace Starwood Embrace with Sapphire Woodwing
