Most dragons take many conversations to learn to read each other, since most dragons don't know how to converse like Lightning does.

The only problem is, he doesn't.

Lightning has many acquaintances and very few friends, since many dragons seem deterred from talking to him due to his eerie, silent nature. In most conversations, Lightning will speak very little; talk to him all you like, but you'll only give him more knowledge on you than you'll ever get from him. Talking with him is almost like talking with a Fae.

It's not like Lightning has trouble fitting in to society; he's purposefully strange so that many dragons won't know what he's really like: mischievous, cunning, confident, and intelligent. He keeps a low profile so that other dragons will just brush him off as strange or awkward and not give him much of a thought--even with a bright green mane, he's almost invisible.

Lightning is most likely to opt to sit out and observe from the sidelines rather than take part in an activity. His personal alignment is unknown and not disclosed by his parents or siblings. Between Daybreak and Naiad, Lightning is closer to Daybreak and enjoys spending time with him more than his parents or sister. The two get on very good terms with each other and share many beliefs, Daybreak usually taking Lightning out on an errand...and Lightning helping him gain his...questionably lawful covenants.
