Hades is the god of the underworld. He is the oldest son of Cronus and Rhea, but the last regurgitated by his father. Alongside his brothers Zeus and Poseidon, he defeated his father and the titans. Hades name means "The Unseen One". He also goes by the names Plouton and Pluto. He abducted his wife and queen, Persephone, and tricked her into remaining with him for a third of the year by getting her to eat a pomegranate seen from his domain. Of all the Greek gods, he is the more altruistically inclined. Often he is passive rather than evil; preferring to maintaining balance. He is also cold and stern. All of his subjects are equally held accountable to his laws. He often has guests, but rarely leaves his domain. He is not normally interested in the Upperworld, as long as none of his subjects escape. He gets rather upset is anyone tries to escape or steal souls from him. His wrath is terrible for anyone who tried to cheat death or cross him. Otherwise he is usually indifferent to his subjects. Persephone was able to persuade him to be merciful. He also has control over wealth and precious minerals. Hades is a formidable fighter, and a just ruler. The narcissus and cypress plants are his favorite.   Death and DeathTheKid occasionally team up for larger projects. they often visit their fellow Necromancer to chat about their craft, compare notes, and to ensure their friend remembers to take care of himself. The rest of the clan tends to make themselves scares when these visits go down. While nothing has ever been proven, dragons and familiars are said to go missing or incur misfortune if they encounter the "Unlucky Trio" together. Said trio find the rumors amusing. The group has never felt any need to disprove the rumors. Hades has a somewhat precarious friendshipwith Minthe. The two get along well, but Persephone is suspicious of Minthe's intentions. It is well known that Minthe is attracted to Hades, and would like nothing more than to take the lord of the underworld for herself. Whether she is willing to incur the goddess' wrath is another question entirely. So far she has not made a move. Hades is well aware of the situation, and does his best to keep the peace. Hades has a few enemies in the clan as well. TomMarvoloRiddle, Voldemort, and Nagini particulary annoy the death god. Voldemort and TomMarvoloRiddle in general, likes to go out of his way to antagonize him. The pair dabble in necromancy, with little regard to safety, and morality. They treat the craft like a toy, and fail to treat it with the respect it deserves. Both occasionally steal tools, and projects from Hades, and his fellow necromancers. These things usually are not returned undamaged, assuming they are even returned at all. Hades has a fondness for art. Of all of his clan mates, Hades commissions the most artwork. He is proud of his collection, and always searching for more. |
 Hades acts as the clans head Necromancer. He is skilled at necromancy. It is a useful skill when your clan's hoard is full of spirits. Hades is a workaholic, never far from the lair. His clan mates often try to lure him out for some fun with little success. Styx and Charon are his closest friends. The two gladiators often run errands for the Lord of the underworld. Hades appreciates the pair's strong work ethics, and their assistance with collecting some of the more difficult materials. Being friends with two of the clan's strongest fighters also helps when experiments go arye. The undead are shockingly resilient enemies. Friends who can one shot most monsters are useful.  |
