Biography

of all the dragons in the clan, itazura is sometimes regarded as bit of an... oddity. despite being a light dragon and an imperial, his colourations and interests make him seem as though he's shadow dragon at heart. such assumptions are only half-correct however, for itazura's father was in fact a shadow skydancer. while he's inherited his mother's breed, itazura has since kept to himself ever since his parents departed to serve their preferred deities, honing his magical abilities. while a light dragon can never truly wield the shadows in the way that the shadowbinder's children can, itazura has refined his abilities in such a way that he can bear the mark of the trickster. whether or not he's skilled enough to have been able to do so, or the shadowbinder herself decided to play along and allow him to bear her symbol is unknown, but there's a certain irony in the fact that an imperial, one of light's own children appears to have taken her rival's visage to heart.
