Brave//Adventurous//Determined Leo/Pisces ESTJ IV of Wands Filigree hails from the frosty north and comes from a clan of mapmakers and cartographers. Her family name is known all around the Southern Icefields. Each map her family made was crafted according to the beauty of nature—so you’d have compasses blooming with cherry blossoms, and inked oceans that looked like ice. She grew up clinging to her father’s back as he traveled around to sketch glaciers. But she wasn’t content to remain at home. She journeyed south, mapping Sornieth as she went. Clan Leafbound has taken her in for a while, and she repays their generosity by sketching the dragons around her. While she misses her family, she’s vowed not to return until she’s got full maps to show them. First Part of Bio by Caelyn Filigree's arrival at Clan Leafbound wasn't exactly expected, but the community was welcoming and she had no problem settling in... for the most part. There was one particular dragon that somewhat bothered her, but Filigree didn't make it a habit to get tied down in petty rivalries and animosity. Besides, eventually she'd realize her feelings about that dragon weren't so very negative after all.

"Hi there, sweetie, my name is Panache. You're new here, right?" Filigree looked up and met the eyes of a fashionably dressed, dusk coloured dragon. She was a bit upset to be interrupted in the middle of her drawing, but she respectfully sat up anyway and engaged in conversation. "You'd be right. I'm just settling here for a bit as I work to finish mapping the rest Sornieth, which will take a very long time, so..." "I heard! That sounds hard" Clearly Panache wasn't very good at picking up on hints to go away. Filigree frowned when Panache sat down right next to her and started staring at what she was working on. "Tell me, what's this over here?" Somehow, Panache had managed to pinpoint one of the areas of the map Filigree had incredible interest in. "I'm actually not sure yet. I haven't had a proper look at the place, but I'm hoping to find out more on my next expedition." "I see... is it fun?" "What?" "Are these expeditions fun? Can I come along?" Panache's head tilted innocently to the side. What a naive question..., Filigree thought to herself. However, it wasn't like going places alone was always the most interesting thing. Yes, it helped her concentrate, but one couldn't help but feel unbearably lonely when climbing a beautiful mountain with nothing but a sketchpad and a cool breeze to accompany. Plus, Panache's interest seemed so genuine. How often did dragons outside her old clan ask about her maps and not her other drawings? "Yeah sure... why not?" Filigree wasn't sure why her face felt so hot and her heartbeat so fast, but she was happy. Maybe... staying for a little longer than she originally planned wasn't the worst idea? Filigree rubbed the scarf with her claw absentmindedly. She liked and collected all kinds of scarves really and this one was no different, but... today this scarf would be going home with someone different if all went well. Eventually, Filigree got up the nerve, opened her wings, tucked the scarf away in her old satchel for now, and took off in the direction of Panache's lair.

Even though Filigree had promised herself she'd do it, she was having a hard time actually just letting Panache know she was there. Finally, she said just loud enough for Panache to hear from inside: "Panache, are you there? I have something for you." Panache immediately burst out in the open. "Filigree! You're here!" She pulled a shocked Filigree into a warm hug. Filigree would have been embarrassed if she didn't know that Panache actually hugged everyone After Filigree felt the hug had went on long enough, she gently pushed Panache back and pulled the scarf out. "Listen, I don't know if you really like scarves even, but this was one I thought looked really nice and..." Filigree trailed off, suddenly finding it hard to talk. "It's for me?" Panache asked and Filigree nodded. "Oh, I love it!" Filigree handed over the scarf and Panache expertly tied it on, and stood tall. "How do I look?" "You look great!" Stupid voice crack, but Panache really did look great. The light blue silk really complemented her bright colours. Filigree couldn't help feeling more and more deeply enamoured by the sight of Panache spinning and dancing, letting the scarf twirl and sparkle. At some point, Panache stopped.
