Uh-oh, looks like this electrifying lady wandered a little too far from her home lair (197643, Ugui), and now she's off to see the world! If ever you feel the need to exalt, she'd really appreciate it if you could just return her to the home lair, or to the 'Dragons Off To See The World' thread, here. This is not necessary, but she would be very grateful! Owners I've Had: Ugui (197643) Mapleleafshade (254254) Korozo (50395) KazeLluna (254532) Harusame (142878) alleycat (120241) --next owner-- Born into a lightning clan, Arisa has gotten tired of sand and desert storms rather quickly. It began to feel rather claustrophobic in her little clan after awhile not to mention she has not been able to find a reason to stay confined in one clan her entire life. Arisa is ready to see all that Sornieth has to offer whether it be adventure or simply good food and good company. Arisa is confident this trip will be a great opportunity to learn and self improve, she can't wait to see what this journey will bring! Arisa headed north of her homeland, to the Ashfall Wastes, to see what adventure she could find there. She flitted about the pools of magma, visitng clans as she went and trying their cuisine. It wasn't long before she heard tell of a grand city in the Flamecaller's domain, one known as Anville. She thought to herself, 'I simply must visit!' and off she went. While there, she enjoyed good food and even better company at the city's most famous pub, The Toasty Roast. The neighborhood wasn't the best, but the food there was worth it. Once she eaten her fill and learned a handful of recipes from the head chef, she decided it was time for her to be off and adventuring once more. The she had fun in the Ashfall Wastes, but she never thought she'd land in Wispwillow Grove. Its dark, wet, and smells kinda funny. The only problem was... did she past that tree before? Oh no! That is the same tree! To be lost in this unforgiving forest is scary! Luckily, her cries were heard and she was saved by a friendly shadow dragon named Kuroshio. Even better was that Kuroshio was the clan leader! She led them back to their cave and introduced Arisa to every dragon there. The hatchlings showed her how to catch fireflies and create lanterns. Older dragons told tales of the Shadowbinder and how they had been able to leave the Driftwood Drag thanks to Her blessings. Arisa even got to meet her grandfather Musashi! Meeting more family was fun, but now it was time for her to see other places! Arisa wandered for a while, but unfortunately boarded a market caravan rather than one intended for travel. She soon found herself standing in line with dozens of other dragons, most of whom were very young and cheering on their favourite flight between Water and Fire. Posters all around listed the price for recruits based on skill, and many intimidating warriors marched about, taking their pick of dragons to be their new trainees. Though she tried to make herself inconspicuous, Arisa caught the eye of a suspiciously chrome-plated dragon who paid a few thousand coins to the caravan leader and led her away into a smaller group of dragons, most of whom towered over her as they were Imperials. There simply wasn't room to escape the flight pattern, and so she was off with promises of exaltation in whispered rumours around her. When the trip ended, Arisa saw a desolate wasteland full of pestilence and mutated dragons. She knew before anyone told her that she had to be in Plague territory, but never in her life had she expected to actually see the Wyrmwound up close and personal - or that some clans actually called the toxic area home. Whisked away into a training regiment, Arisa never found the time or energy to explain that there had been a huge misunderstanding and she wasn't interested in becoming an exalted warrior for either of the warring factions. By time training ended each day, she was too exhausted to do anything more than sleep. The mercenary trainers worked recruits hard to train them quickly and efficiently, and the schedule was just far too rigorous for Arisa. Fortunately, after she'd been led to a strange tent under the banner 'Center for Disease Proliferation,' Arisa found a very strange yet kind-hearted male Skydancer who called himself the Wendighost. He said he could sense her reluctance and fear in the way Skydancers are prone to do and asked why she was afraid. Expecting to be told she was out of luck, Arisa rushed through the explanation... Only to be met with gentle amusement. Wendighost explained that his clan, the Brotherhood as he called it, was not in the business of forcing unwilling dragons into servitude. Indeed, the mercs who trained her were horrified by their oversight and offered many gifts and apologies before welcoming her to stay amongst them until she was ready to travel again. Relieved by narrowly escaping such a close call, Arisa gladly stayed with the clan for a while. She learned much about the survival methods and militant dedication of Plague dragons and their allies born to other flights. But more than that, she learned of the strong bonds of loyalty and the peculiar ways her newest clan found entertainment amongst a horribly desolate landscape. It was an eye-opening experience wherein she bonded with Tree, another Lightning dragon who had grown tired of the sandy desert storms. They both spent hours sharing stories of their travels each day, often gathering an audience of other clanmates during the process. As such, she made many new friends and soon distanced from the fear she'd felt when so close to exaltation. Arisa never thought she'd say it, but she actually came to enjoy life near the Wyrmwound. |
