Aether is the one of the only dragons from the Cloudsong Mountains, the mysterious cliffs to the north of the Realm. The Imperials who inhabit these heavenly peaks are known to be insightful, calming, even magical, and it is rumored they can live for up to a thousand years. These grand and exotic traits have given them a rather heavenly presence throughout the Realm.
Aether serves as a war strategist. He is a unique being with a unique mind and abilities, and he often speaks in riddles and will say things that might not make much sense. He can read the whispers in the wind and the deep choruses of the rocks as well as talk to Familiars. His ability to tell when trouble comes is a great protection from the larger clans. Although it has yet to be seen, Aether has considerable power over the weather and environment and can mount a vicious attack on foes or a impenetrable defense on friends.
The only factually known story about Aether is how he came to meet Pan. Pan is a mix between Imperial and Fae blood, something never to be seen before. Pan is the only close friend known to Aether. He does not show favoritism, affection or deep emotion to any others, but he does love to play chess with the Council Dragons because they can never win.
