Like her namesake, Virsmoke exists in smoke and shadow, in the slips and missed spaces of the lair, slithering about like a serpent. Intimidating to absolutely no one, she is by no means attempting to garner a reputation for herself, merely absent-minded in the manner she presents herself as she dashes about between experiment and experiment.

Often found in fierce debate with Heuni, Virsmoke does not cower to the older dragon's snapping bite, fighting back just as fiercely. Typically gentle and easy-going, Virsmoke is unsurprisingly favored by the leader's mate and has flourished under his tutelage.

Like many in the lair, Virsmoke was born in the clan, born to lighting and witchcraft and beauty. Even as a hatchling, Virsmoke had always drawn smoke and whisper to her as easily as flying and with her powerful wings and stream-lined figure, she has flown far and wide collecting knowledge and truly honing her craft. As Echo's clear favorite, she has access to all the books and scrolls in his library and is keen to contribute her own works and theories.

While she may not draw the same amount of power that Heuni ultimately does, Virsmoke draws the gentler members of the clan with her easy manner and forgiving nature. As such, she is often found to be the healer and scryer amongst Lyra's clan despite her tendency to become quite lost in adangerous experiment or book.
