Claws and small rocks littered the floor, the sounds of a Spiral screeching echoed throughout the vast cave system. Slowly after the distressed cries died down cheering filled the caves. Eyes sad as he rose to his paws, Vikenti silently mourned the dragon that had been "sacrificed" for the clan. A group of earth purists. They offered shelter to travelers, only to steal them from peaceful sleep in the wee hours of the night, to sacrifice their lives to keep the clan fed and healthy. Or that's what they said... Vikenti knew his birth-clan was that of purists. It made him feel different, disgusted almost, that the clan harbored no diversity and killed the memories and journeys of dragons from different flight areas; Well, any who didn't inherit the "earth eyes." Stretching out his wings, Vikenti finished his silent vigil and scratched a claw alongside the rocky edge of the cave. It's time...


The gilded and decorated Imperial slipped out of the cave into the starry night. Taking a deep breath, he secured his Earth Tome, money pouch, and took flight into the vast night sky. Freedom had never felt so thrilling. He was originally to become the leader of his birth clan, being the only heir; It just didn't feel right. So much more could be discovered... learned than just a life in a cave. Vikenti loved his family but his life was elsewhere in the world. His flight was quickly interrupted as he clashed with two young skydancers, Themis, and her mate, Ahrion. The two had also been fleeing a bad situation and were more than willing to join Vikenti on his journey for a new life. Perhaps a lifelong friendship had been formed? The three got along stupendously actually. Themis had also originated from a royalty background unlike Ahrion, which was why the two had fled their home clans.


After many months, the trio settled into a small area within the Arcane flight. They lived there for a significant amount of time, many dragons filtering through, some staying and others leaving until eventually the clan consisted of Vikenti, his mate, Requiem, Themis, Ahrion, their son Savion, Wedge, Elae, and Sacrum. The grouping made a consensus to migrate to a new home. The small clan found their new home in the Ice flight, among a tightly woven string of trees that sheltered them from the torrential snowfall. Their lives all significantly improved and the clan was once again bustling with life. Vikenti had taken on the position as the "Leader" of the clan, however, Themis and her children were deemed the royalty of the clan.
