Low Potential: The Seer looked into their eyes and saw signs of limitation. Their link to their element is weak and has left them fragile and struggling to fit in.

This one's an intellectual, through and through. She shied away from the rambunctious flurry that her nest place became and drew herself away to her father's towering legs. There she stayed; under his shadow, she watched and learned. She talks under her breath, a constant stream of consciousness as she scratches letters and numbers into the dirt. She covets books but makes her mark on them- teeth marks and folded down pages, margins scribbled with notes and questions and references to other tomes- and she covets power. It's harder to come by than she expected. She's a runt, in a sense. A little stunted- not too noticeable until one studies her too closely, and by then she's moved on- but she was never coordinated enough to fight properly. So words are her weapon instead. She can talk herself in and out of fights, could start a philosophical debate so enraged she can slip away and steal coin, and she could easily talk down the Sword of Damocles itself. Maybe she isn't that good, but her ego is too far gone to consider that a possibility at all.

History
A christening nest for the mitigation to Plague. Their parents visited this Wasteland often, so the move was more coming home than anything to them. These children were spoilt rotten, doted on by their parents. The more physically inclined were taught how to defend with tooth and nail, how to use their magic to enhance every blow. The more mentally inclined were taught how to read and write, how to observe and calculate. They were taken on excursions to ally and enemy clans alike, and watched as they were greeted with both formality and with blood. If any of this sunk in however- well, that really depends.
