Neverforget

If Glory's faith moves mountains, Never's faith makes him a mountain. Steadfast and immovable, it would take the intervention of the Windsinger Himself to change Never's mind once made up. A few dragons appreciate his dependable nature, but most find his stubborn refutation of reason, logic, and evidence aggravating.

Though born to Plague, Never heard the song of the Windsinger at an early age and followed it through many perilous journeys until at last he arrived on the Windswept Plateau. There, most Wind Flight dragons laughed at the drake's solemn devotion, claiming that their god preferred their joyous levity to back-breaking sacrifice. Offended by their flippancy, Vortex might have exalted himself then and there, if he had not met Glory. Her steadfast faith inspired him anew to spread the Windsinger's word. He decided to change his name, as she had, to "The-Heavens-Shall-Never-Forget", or "Neverforget" for short, though most just call him "Never".
Like his mate, Never reveres Erinys (and, to a lesser extent, Jacinthe) as an incarnation of the Windsinger, mindlessly supporting her every decision. He also believes Euripides, Falx, and Falx's daughter, Primavera, are blasphemous traitors, quietly trying to subvert the Matriarch. Since Primavera and, to a lesser extent, Euripides and Falx, are wildly popular among the clan, most of his clanmates dislike Never and Glory. Plus, no-one likes to be guilted for their inadequate prayer-rate. Only Erinys's ego saves the pair from expulsion, as the Matriarch loves to be reminded of her divine origins.
