Tesai was a quiet one. It took effort to get more than three words at a time from him, and you almost had to chain him down to sit in with the clan. It was much easier to let him go off on his own. He started scavenging around his first clan, finding little things that interested him and taking them back to decide on what to keep. Eventually he felt as though there wasn't anything exciting, or that he had found all that he needed, so he packed his things and left with barely a word. His travels ended up going all over the world, picking up his wolf cape and wing chimes from those that got in his way. He's in the middle battle wise- he grew up knowing only the full offensive tactics but he's learning the magical side, and the defenses that come with it. Stealth is a strong point for him, and he carries is own healing supplies. He made a temporary home in the Carrion Canyon to refresh some of his supplies when he was found by Aenva. He may be a scavenger, but she is a vulture and thus she takes it to the next level. She was large and imposing, with a great roc at her side that is still bigger than he is, and he knew better than to try and fight back. He was literally plucked from his camp and brought back to Larventi's clan, and while he was given an option to leave and both the matriarch and Aenva's parents apologized for her behavior, Tesai stayed. He decided it would be good to have a permanent home, some place to store his finds and not need to worry about thieves- Aenva's own hoard of similar shiny-and-slash-or-dead-things may have had a part in this decision. Once he was introduced to the clan and learned about the Family and learned more about Aenva and her... lack of social skills, both he and many others agreed that it was sheer luck that she didn't outright kill or maim him. She's apparently done that before to stragglers she picks up. Tesai was nervous being around her, but eventually got out of his shell the longer she was nearby. He treated her like any other dragon and she respected him, and that eventually led to them becoming mates. Heist, their firstborn, stayed with the clan and Tesai was welcomed into the Family. Others are glad that he's around, as he's one of the few that Aenva listens to and won't fight back constantly about everything with. [morph - 11/11/18] |
