 "WHY THE ACTUAL HELL IS IT PINK." A fierce hunter straight from the Shifting Expanse, he tore through the Viridian Labyrinth in search of new hunting grounds and a possible connection to his Wildclaw heritage. Instead, he found a young Guardian desperately fighting for her life against encroaching centaurs, with a vibrant Mirror lying dead several yards away. Screams of sheer utter rage and anguish echoed throughout the trees, with only mocking Centaur laughter to answer. Chal felt something alight in him, and crashed the battle, teeth and claws alight with lightning and a wild scream tearing from his maw. They tore the Centaur clan apart til only smears of blood remained on the grass, and thus the forest was silent. The new feeling persisting, he silently helped the Guardian cart the Mirror's corpse back to her lair and watched the burial procession. After all was said and done, the Guardian approached on her lonesome and introduced herself. She was Arashu, the matriarch of a fledgeling clan trying to carve new territory for the clan in the Shrieking Wilds with her now fallen mate Faize. Taking in her and the clan she had gathered, Chal knew he couldn't leave them as they were. Without so much as a thought to his original plans, he offered his services permanently to the clan...in a roundabout way of course, since Eleven forbid he be straightforward about this sort of thing. Through thick and thin, through clanmates lost and found, and even through a shift in Clan allegiance from verdant Nature to desolate Plague, he has remained at Arashu's side as her Second in all Clan activities. |
