Dapper set out into the world knowing one thing, he wanted to build a great clan- a strong clan, one that would withstand everything thrown at it- he was adopted into the Zubris Clan by Frigga and Odin while they still lived in the Shadow Domain- Odin had a soft spot for the imperial's view on the world and unbridled optimism so he welcomed him into the folds. When Dapper grew up the clan was strong in their unity but over all not content with living in the Shadow Flight.

Dapper set out to perhaps find the clan a more suitable habitat, after visiting and accessing many flights he stumbled upon the Lightning flight and it seemed to fit him perfectly. The Lightningcatcher was a strong Boss- and his ideals matched perfectly with Dapper's. Going hope Dapper told the clan the good news and most all of them decided to follow him, save for Frigga and Odin who were devoted to the lady Shadowbinder and instead went to serve her as opposed to moving with the rest of the clan- they gave their blessings though before going into the service of the dark mother.

Thus, Dapper became the new head of the clan and thus he has ruled it pretty fairly although he has begun to find some of the duties taxing. While ruthless in his deals, and while he does run a tight business he also has a weak spot for the hatchlings he sells and is a bit sour every time one is exalted as opposed to being put in a pretty new home and enjoyed like the gift they are. When not running the lair, he can be found in the nursery area playing with all the young dragons under Scarf's care- not that he would let anyone know this, for it is a weakness and there is no room for that in the world of Dragon Selling and Breeding.
