The Best Tango Teacher: Gerudo
Nobody in the clan really knew what they were getting into when they accepted Maalik's offer to stay. The tower was in near shambles, and it's original purpose was masked from all except perhaps the dragons who had come before them: none of whom voluntarily shared. Despite this, there were too many benefits for any wise dragon to decline the offer - one of which was the unrelenting protection and shelter of the tower itself. After all, whom could complain about resting in the bosom of a construct whose very stones came to life in order to defend it's occupants?

Over time, the magic of the tower itself has dwindled. However, one stone statue has gained enough sentience to post itself permenantly outside the gates of that which it was born from. He had taken on a name and a knighthood under Maalik himself.

The stones themselves chant it thus: Manaf.
Manaf has very little grasp on the concept of emotion, due to his origins as a stone statue. That does not render him any less curious about the idea however. After he had gained his duty and knighthood from Maalik, his next step was to investigate these strange things, which could cripple a knight or strengthen a peasant. He saw it as a weapon, and as a combat golem, he simply had to know more.

Saigyouji's miracle was that of stirring emotional growth inside that which was once inanimate. Unfortunately, the growth was slow, and resulted in the knight asking many occupants of Gypsum Tower and allies just what, exactly, made and fed these strange sensations within his heart. Manaf got many answers, and through each tried his best to fuel the flames that would slowly become something within him. It was Vaati whom began to teach Manaf about the art of dance and it's connection to both the body and feelings. Manaf saw value in this, as it helped him grow both in combat and in heart.

So of course, it's only natural he needed someone to teach him to tango.

Manaf's familiar is a fellow creature of sentient stone. Though not of the same structure, the beings sympathized through their alikeness and became fast companions. One can often catch Manaf sparring with his familiar outside the tower during morning hours.

The precious statue that does not understand
Could most likely throw an imperial like a javelin even in his human form
But just wants to be a gentle boi.
Has lethal hugs, cuddle with caution
