Born Maryanne, Autumn chose to go by her middle name to be distinguished from her mother of the same name. While not a vampire, she is a powerful witch and came to Nightshade looking to study vampirism and the medical conditions and side effects that come with.

Autumn came from a rather well off family, while she didn't exactly "want for nothing", she wasn't fully prepared for life in Nightshade and finding work was difficult for the first few years, but training underneath Mercy and Vira, she found her feet quickly and rose to become one of the most notorious herbalists in the city.

Autumn has a kind and genuine personality, enjoying the company of others as well as being by herself, she always goes out of her way to do the right thing and to accommodate others when it is needed, though she's also unafraid to stand up for herself or what she believes in.

Autumn gave the final donation to the Nightshade Community Education Centre, a school that offers classes on multiple subjects and later would have her likeness captured in a wall plaque and painting as well as a large statue in the lobby.

Autumn gets along with just about everybody in Nightshade, though Kori and Kiera seem to be her closest friends as she provides them both with any missing ingredients they may need for their tea blends or incense.
