RESONATE

A lone dragon made a long journey towards this lair in the Southern Icefields. This dragon was traveling to visit her grandmother, Yindi, who is the lair's progenitor. Resonate's father (Yindi's son) also went on a journey to a new lair with strong ties to this one in the Southern Icefields. It was on his suggestion that she went too, to see her family and pay her respects to them.

Yindi recently returned from her service to the Windsinger and actually met with Resonate along the way. Resonate had never seen Yindi before, and originally they only spoke a few polite words in passing. Yindi had a strange look in her eye as they spoke, but Roxana didn't question it too much, thinking "Perhaps she has never seen a Ridgeback before?"

Crossing a large expanse of water, she arrived in a place covered in white. A thick blanket of snow covered the land and trees. The Southern Icefields were larger than she imagined, much larger than the other regions she'd visited previously.

Snow started to fall in the middle of the day, darkening the sky. In a moment she realised she was lost after coming so far. Just as she was about to give up her search she suddenly caught sight of something green and white streaking through the trees. At fist she thought it was nothing but a flurry of snow, for it was camouflaged so well against the surroundings. She was already lost so she decided to catch up with the strange flurry, and discovered that it was in fact a dragon.

The dragon introduced himself as Radio and explained that he just returned from a place called "Moonlit Nyyt Weyr" after visiting his daughter. Resonate explained that she was traveling to meet her family too, but that she was having some difficulties. As soon as Radio heard the name "Yindi" his eyes brightened, before saying "Yes I see the resemblance, I should have noticed it sooner!"

"You know my grandmother?!" Resonate was surprised. "Please, take me to her!"
